XtCat counters
Basic counter
When you add this from the widget menu in the building tool you will get a single site wide counter that will show the same counter on any page
You can then register at XtCat and start adding more parameters to customize and control the counter
Basic settings
call="value"
A unique alphanumeric string to identify your counter this can be your own or obtained from your xtcat counter "demo" key="XtCat key" Your key is shown on your XtCat counter page xtuser="XtCat username" Your Registered XtCat username
Advanced settings
idstring="string"
Use this instead of "call" when added a md5# (encrypted version) of the string will be used for the "call" value do not use both parameters in the widget code reset="number"
Counter will be reset when number is reached type="none"
Counter will be incremented but will not show on the page type="display1"
Counter will be shown but will not be incremented type="unique"
Counter will only add unique visitors type="display2"
Unique visitors counter will be shown but will not be incremented type="hits_average"
Counter will show the average number of hits type="unique_average"
Counter will show the average unique hits
Image counters
You can also display an EXISTING counter as a png image
first install the Xtcat widget from the market page When the widget is added from the building tool you will get a simple un-styled un-moderated guest book. To Moderate your guest book you must register at
and add the supplied xtuser key and call values to your widget code
There are extra parameters for text customisation and paging that can also be added to the widget code
